Shefalee V. Patel was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois. As a second-generation Indian in America, she feels it is her duty to share the diversity of her Indian culture. Apart from being a mom of two boys, she spends her time expressing her heritage through arts and dance. She promotes her creativity to the Charlotte community through her love for folk dances and visual paintings.
